JOB PURPOSE:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an accounting professional to join the flagship Aberystwyth Innovation and Enterprise Campus (AberInnovation) company as its Finance Assistant for a maternity cover.
This post lends itself to a confident individual with excellent technical and communication skills. The successful candidate will take a role in assisting the day-to-day financial inputting will liaise directly with the Finance Manager to ensure smooth financial management.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager the role will include the following duties:
Financial administration
Business activities
General
Human Resources and Health & Safety
In addition to the many day-to-day duties, from time to time, on a temporary or permanent basis, you may be required to undertake additional duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business. This list is not exhaustive and appropriate additional duties will be added / expected to support the needs of the business.

Experience of working within a similar role, together with experience of core financial duties such as: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
Demonstrable financial knowledge and experience |
Experience of working within a university environment.
